*Digi Charat, given the short length of episodes, will be shown immediately following each Club screening.

*The East Asian Studies department is putting on an East Asian film series at 7:30pm on Friday evenings. Due to the overlapping of their showings with ours, the lack of communication of schedules, and the childish assertion that we were doing ours first, the EAS screenings are not on our calendar.

Club Showings:

Anime Club showings are generally held on Friday evenings at 8:30pm, usually in one of the two King lecture halls. All showings will be in the original Japanese language with English subtitles unless otherwise noted. As the club's policy is to avoid showing anything that was shown in the last year, here is a rough list of past showings.

Meetings:

This semester the Anime Club will meet bi-monthly (that's every other week), on Friday evenings at 7:30pm, somewhere in Wilder. Those dates and locations will be posted here. Items can be submitted to be put on the agenda by emailing anime.club@oberlin.edu.

Sponsored showings:

Due to the lack anime exco's being taught next semester, the Club has begun a policy to sponsor unofficial showings of anime on campus. This way, those with the time and the willingness to do so can reserve a suitable room through Anime Club, and the Club in turn won't have to worry about running things. Contact us if you would like to propose a showing for us to sponsor.

Other Events:

In addition anime, the club also supports events around campus which relate to Japanese language or culture. From time to time we will attempt to publicize those events here. If you know of such an event, please let us know.
